Within Mynaric, Operations Quality Engineers are better known as Build Reliability Engineers, and they are members of the Build Reliability Department.
The mission of the Build Reliability Department is to guarantee the conformity of Mynaric products against the build documentation and support on quality, on time and on cost delivery of Mynaric’s laser telecommunication terminals.
The Operations Quality Engineers/Build Reliability Engineers represent the operational arm of quality and are in direct contact with stakeholders ranging from shopfloor staff up to executive committee members.
In this role you shall report to the Director of Build Reliability.
As part of your day-to-day tasks, you will be accountable for managing non-conformances, managing different actions arising from them and push things forward in by interfacing with the relevant stakeholders.
You will have to formalize, document, and write procedures on ways of working related to quality thus bringing them under formal control and ownership.
In this role, you will also be tasked with the design and deployment of the quality inspection points in current and future production facilities.
You will have the freedom to research and implement novel approaches using new technologies for quality inspections.

What you bring with you

At least 2 years of work experience in an operational quality domain and/or series production environment in a highly regulated industry.
A Bachelor in an Engineering Subject followed by a Master’s in Engineering Management or Industrial Engineering.
Experience in managing non-conformances and problem solving within an operational environment is mandatory.
Initial experience in stakeholder management & project management is desirable.
Work experience in aerospace, space, aviation, or laser industry represents an advantage.
Experience with statistical methods in a quality context is desirable.
Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.
Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are necessary.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Fluency or willingness to learn German represents an advantage.
