• Technically Lead a team of Electronics Manufacturing Engineers with your sound knowledge of relevant SMT assembly and test manufacturing processes. Own the delivery of both engineering and flight electronics for our Condor MKIII and HAWK product lines.

• Lead your team with agility through a dynamic new product development environment, delivering to timelines and ensuring that product is effectively introduced to production.

• Enable a culture of continuous improvement through the application of design for excellence (DfX) practices while strengthening the new product introduction process.

• Enable Manufacturing team to define and implement tooling and processes for world class and highly efficient production processes capable of meeting rate at the highest standards of quality and reliability. 

• Define and implement business, manufacturing and production metrics to measure and optimize productivity in all areas with specific focus on yield improvement, work floor efficiency, risk reduction and process control improvement. 

• Act as a forcing function for excellence in execution and apply first principles thinking to bring focus on cost reduction in every element of design, production and supply chain processes.

• Work closely with development and design engineers, internal production resources and external vendors to make parts that are designed for manufacturability, reliability, source-ability, etc. to improve the product.

• Positively impact and improve every aspect of life at Mynaric through motivational leadership to drive the business forwards by applying technical decision making and acting as a servant leader to your team.

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in dynamic manufacturing environment with ownership/responsibility of transitioning products from development to production.

• Proven experience with the design and manufacture of high reliability electronics assemblies.

• Well-rounded technically and displaying a proficiency in all electronics manufacturing techniques and processes including a strong working knowledge of EEE piece parts, PCB, PCBA, lamination, electromechanical, and test.

• Experience with the full life cycle of process development including but not limited to qualification, new product development, PFMEA, capacity/resource planning and Lean manufacturing.

• Ability to influence other organizations decision making on manufacturability, assembly, reliability, source-ability, etc. through strong engineering/business rationale and data driven design. 

• Strong ability to effectively organize, assign and track work/deliverables and drive overall manufacturing strategies based on business needs. 

• Demonstrated exceptional achievements at previous companies too rapidly improve production through process improvements while focusing on product reliability and mission success.

• Ability to lead and work well in an integrated team including daily interactions with technicians, engineers and managers.

Nice to Haves :

• Master’s degree or PhD in an electronics engineering or relevant engineering discipline preferred 

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment

• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing and scaling to high volume as part of a cross-functional team

• Experience transitioning products from R&D into production environment

• Experience interpreting quality standards associated with common manufacturing processes including drawing specifications, limit samples, and incoming/outgoing quality control points with a proven track-record of implementing products from tool release to mass production

• Knowledge of scrum principles and use of relevant project planning and project ideation tools like JIRA/Confluence or similar experience.
