What awaits you at Mynaric

You are managing challenges to develop the thermal management of laser communication terminals.
You keep the electronics cool and the optics stable with suitable thermal control systems.
You solve thermal problems for our airborne and space terminals.
You find solutions for thermal challenges associated with the specific environment using innovative approaches to meet challenging cost, power and size constraints.
You develop thermal architectures and controls to solve opto-mechanical challenges in cooperation with optics and structural mechanics, and cooling concepts in cooperation with aerodynamics and electronics.
You build Thermal Models of our terminals and subsystems such as electronics, and perform analyses.
You perform and monitor thermal tests to correlate the thermal model and solve issues observed during those tests.

What you bring with you

You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar.
You have 3+ years of experience in Thermal Engineering.
You have in depth knowledge in relevant disciplines such as Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics.
You are an expert in Thermal Simulations using tools such as Simcenter 3D.
You are a results-oriented, reliable, and pro-active person, that works responsibly and independently.
You are an absolute team player with excellent communication skills, and you previously worked in project teams.
You communicate well in English, German knowledge is a plus.
