Our business is rapidly expanding, and we require experienced Customer Project Engineer to work closely with our Business Development/Sales and Program Management teams to help deliver our products to the customers. We require exceptional individuals who desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work across cross functional teams and demonstrate leadership and organizational capabilities, with a high level of technical knowledge of laser communication networks, satellite communications, networking, aerospace environments, and more. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, collaborative work setting and be able to support multiple initiatives across diverse customer segments.
Based in Munich, Germany, we are expanding our team with strategic hires to drive our global go-to-market strategy. One of our primary markets is the space/satellite sector, encompassing constellations of varying sizes in LEO, MEO, and GEO orbits. Anticipated demand over the coming years, both in commercial and government sectors, necessitates the addition of an adept Customer Project Engineering professional with extensive experience in Aerospace Communications.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical lead in responding to customer requirements (compliance matrices etc.) through internal coordination with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across Engineering and other organizations during program execution.
  • Support customer requirements capture and traceability to existing products as well as flow down.
  • Collaborate with the Program Management team to facilitate customer meetings, lead development of technical content for documents delivered to customers, answer customers questions, and solve integration challenges.
  • Support Business Development, Sales, and Program Management teams in crafting technical content for proposals that translate Mynaric product specifications into customer requirements.
  • Support the develop technical whitepapers showcasing the potential applications of Mynaric products across various solutions, in conjunction with product managers and Future Engineering departments.
What you bring with you
  • 7+ years of direct experience in Aerospace Business Development, Sales, or Program Management related to technology products and solutions for commercial, civil and defense customers and agencies in the broader aerospace and satellite communications industries.
  • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Optics, Laser Physics, or Computer Sciences.
  • Extensive experience (ideally 10+ years) in the aerospace/satellite communications industry, as a technical customer oriented professional, with exposure to diverse environments ranging from large corporate aerospace or technology-driven organizations to small business environment and cultures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience in concept- to- launch with one or more satellite
  • Experience with aerospace environments beyond traditional large prime contractors and agencies.
