Operate a variety of CNC machines, including milling, turning, and grinding
Set up machines and run production processes efficiently and accurately
Support the introduction and operation of advanced optics production equipment (Diamond Turning, Vacuum Coating, Metrology)
Perform machine setups under the guidance of engineering staff or supervisors
Interpret technical drawings and apply basic GD&T principles
Accurately record inspection results and production hours
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with 5S principles
Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
Proactively identify and resolve issues, contributing to process improvements
Shift work may be required
Experience with CNC machines or metal fabrication
Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential
Technical education, vocational degree, or apprenticeship preferred
Positive attitude with a commitment to following defined processes
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel)
Effective teamwork and communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage
